Landmark Systems, provider of business management software to farms and estates has united with local business RH & RW Clutton (an independent property consultancy) and the stunning Stopham Estate, to contribute to the planting of the sizeable new ‘Jubilee Clump’ in Stopham, West Sussex.
The three have a good history of working together – RH & RW Clutton, agents for the Stopham Estate have been long time users of Landmark’s renowned KEYPrime Accounts and KEYPrime Property software for the estate’s financial and property management record keeping and reporting.
Sir Brian Barttelot 5th Baronet of Stopham commissioned the planting of a mixture of oak, beech and copper beech trees looking over stunning views of the South Downs earlier this year, to take part in the Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) – a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee which invited individuals, villages, cities, counties, schools and corporates to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.
A beautiful bench, made from Stopham Estate oak has also been erected so locals and walkers can sit, take a break and look at the clump which thanks to the mix of trees planted will make for a breath-taking site, to mark Her Majesty’s legacy for hundreds of years to come.
The collaboration and contribution are particularly fitting for Landmark Systems which, through Founding Director Nigel Parsons, has this year been re-awarded the Royal Warrant for the provision of accounts and property management software and consultancy services to the Royal Estates.
Mr Parsons said: “We are thrilled to have been able to work with the Stopham Estate and RH & RW Clutton on this project, which as well as celebrating the Platinum Jubilee, will benefit West Sussex locals and tourists for years to come. Sir Brian informed us that there are oak trees on the estate dating back hundreds of years, so it is fantastic to think that we can mark Her Majesty’s legacy in such long standing way if the oak trees planted in this clump live to such an age too.”
