As of 14th January 2020, Microsoft will be stopping all support, patches for flaws/performance glitches and security updates for Windows 7. This could mean that your PC is vulnerable to security risks and viruses.
Microsoft’s recommendation is that you upgrade to Windows 10 to ensure that your PC and data is protected and supported.
The official Microsoft end of life list for 2020 also includes:
- Windows Server 2008 on 14th January 2020
- Microsoft Office 2010 on 13th October 2020.
