New App to access your records on the move, in the field and at market.
The first version of Farmdata’s Cattledata App for Android & Apple ‘phones and tablets will be displayed on the Landmark Systems stand (Hall 10, Stand 10.130) at LAMMA on 7th and 8th January. Taking the functionality of Cattledata into the field has been a goal for the Farmdata Aberdeenshire team, working alongside Landmark’s parent company Isagri, since Farmdata and Landmark joined forces in January last year. Existing users can purchase the App as a module, for new users Cattledata software is available with or without the App.
A range of activities including calving, service, health treatments and movements can be entered directly into the mobile device. Filters to select animals by type, location and group mean the entry is rapid. Individual animal records can be interrogated to view history.
On connecting to the office Wi-Fi the information in the App synchronises with the software’s database. Further functionality is then available, for example direct links to national databases to apply for passports and report movements. Availability of health reports, herd performance analysis and comprehensive reporting gives users the ability to demonstrate compliance and be more on top of performance of any animal, group or enterprise.
